4. Administrative and Bookkeeping Support

The Back Office Co. provides administrative and bookkeeping support services.

Unless specifically agreed to in writing, services do not include:

  • CPA services

  • Tax preparation or tax filing

  • Legal advice

  • Financial planning or investment advice

  • Auditing

  • Legal compliance determinations

  • Specialized payroll tax or employment-law advice

Clients remain responsible for reviewing and approving their business records, financial information, payroll information, tax filings, and other business decisions.

Where appropriate, clients should work with their CPA, tax professional, attorney, payroll provider, or other qualified professional.

5. Payroll Support

Payroll-related services provided by The Back Office Co. are administrative in nature unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Services may include organizing employee information, collecting and organizing timesheets, preparing payroll information, tracking payroll-related deadlines, and coordinating information with a client's payroll provider.

The Back Office Co. does not provide legal, tax, or employment-law advice.

The client remains responsible for the accuracy and approval of employee information, hours, wages, deductions, classifications, tax information, and payroll submissions.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information necessary to perform requested services.

The Back Office Co. is not responsible for delays, errors, penalties, fees, or other consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or late information supplied by a client or third party.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving work before it is submitted, finalized, paid, filed, or otherwise relied upon.

7. Fees and Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Ongoing support is billed at $40 per hour.

  • One-time projects are billed at $45 per hour, with a $200 minimum project charge.

Actual client pricing, billing schedules, payment methods, and project terms may be established in a separate client agreement or written proposal.

Invoices are due according to the payment terms stated on the applicable invoice or client agreement.

The Back Office Co. reserves the right to pause services for overdue accounts.

8. Confidentiality

The Back Office Co. understands that clients may provide confidential business information while receiving services.

Reasonable efforts will be made to protect confidential client information and use it only as necessary to provide agreed-upon services.

Specific confidentiality, data-security, and information-handling requirements may be addressed in a separate client agreement.

9. No Guarantee of Results

While The Back Office Co. strives to provide accurate, timely, and dependable services, no specific business, financial, tax, payroll, or operational result is guaranteed.

10. Third-Party Services

The Back Office Co. may use or interact with third-party services, software, platforms, payroll providers, accounting systems, or other technology on behalf of or at the direction of a client.

The Back Office Co. is not responsible for outages, errors, changes, security incidents, or other issues caused by third-party services outside its control.

11. Website Content

The information contained on this website is provided on an “as is” basis.

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate, or up to date.

We reserve the right to change website content, services, pricing, or availability without notice.
